Nicole Mary Kidman, AC (born 20 June 1967) is an Australian-American actress, singer and film producer. Kidman’s film career began in 1983. She starred in various Australian film and television productions until her breakthrough in the 1989 thriller Dead Calm.
In 1988 Nicole took to the stage for her first professional stage production, in the John Ewing-directed show Steel Magnolias. Nicole plays the central role of Shelby Eatenton Latcherie, a young newly-married woman who has diabetes. The play showed at the York Theatre at the Seymour Centre in Sydney. Nicole’s main co-stars were Nancy Hayes, Maggie Dence, Pat McDonald, Mellissa Jaffer and Genevieve Lemon.
This is a standard contract of service for single plays and/or productions for her appearance in the theatre production of Steel Magnolias. Nicole Kidman signed the contract in blue pen. This one of Nicole’s first performances and a very early signature. Contract front page has come away from the staple; signature is in excellent condition and comes with a second unsigned contract.
