Hop on Pop is a 1963 children’s picture book by Dr Seuss. It was published as part of the Random House Beginner Books series, and is subtitled “The Simplest Seuss for Youngest Use”. It contains several short poems about a variety of characters, and is designed to introduce basic phonics concepts to children. This copy is a first edition. Theodor Seuss Geisel born on the 2nd of March 1904 died on the 24th of September 1991 was an American writer, poet, and cartoonist most widely known for his children’s books written under the pen names Dr Seuss, Theo LeSieg and, in one case, Rosetta Stone. Dr Seuss has flat signed in black ink on the title page. Book is in very good condition inside the cover has some stains and knocks to the corners.
