Typed signed letter by Ann Todd. The letter is an anecdotal contribution by Todd to the Benny Greens, Book of Calamities. The letter describes a calamity while performing as Peter Pan in the play of the same name. When preparing to be lifted up as to fly the rigging malfunctioned swing Ann like a pendulum across the stage, all to the shock of the young audience. The last words she heard as the curtain was being pulled ‘Wassa matter with Peter mummy’. Dorothy Anne Todd born 24 January 1909 died 6 May 1993, was an English actress and producer.
